It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing on of Sister in Christ Mama Yunia Amolo Ochanda, which occurred on 25th March, 2022 in Kisumu.
Wife of the late James Ochanda.
Mother of Moses Ochanda, Margaret Akech, Gilbert Ochanda, the late Caleb Ochanda, Nelly Strauss, Jane Lloyd, Yona Ochanda, Dora Ochanda and Josephine Osamba.
Mother-in-law of Edward Sulle, Karl Strauss, Jeff Obura, Rob Lloyd, David Osamba, Gladys, Linda, Anna, Margaret, Ghanima.
Her grandchildren include: Eunice, Esther, Roda, Jacob, Arnold, Ema, Vero, Dora,Amelea, Eunice, Makiadi, Linda, Ben, Eunice, Sara, Brenda, Linda, Eunice, James, Eda, Kezia, Rachel, Silvia, lsaoh, David, Nancy, Victor, Letty, Jacky, Sony, Jim, Cliff, Ivonne, Kamilya, Luqman, Hiqman, Lionel, Chelsea and Jamie.
She has left behind 28 great-grandchildren.
The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 6th April, 2022 at 11.00am for St. Mathews ACK Church – Simerro.
Burial will be on Thursday 7th April, 2022 from 9.00am to 1.00pm at Gondho village, Simerro, Rang’ala Sub-location in Ugunja Sub-county.
