it is with sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Yvonne Monica Waititu Gathigia – Vee – (formerly of Safaricom TCC), after a short illness.
Daughter to Esther Gathigia Gickuki of Githuthi Thangatki Location, Mukurweini Sub-county, Nyeri County. Granddaughter to Monica Waititu and the late Mwalimu Shadrack Gickuki Gatkondu.
Mother to Tony and Kui. Sister to Anthony Gickuki of Safaricom, Nairobi.
Prayers and funeral arrangements are taking place at her parents home Githuthi Village, Kikaro Sub-location.
The cortege leaves Mukurweini Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 8th July, 2022 at 8:3oam for a funeral mass and burial will he held thereafter at Githuthi Village in Kikaro Sub-location, Mukurweini.

To the family of Yvonne Waititu
It sad to hear the passing of a beloved Daughter, Mother and Friend to many who knew her.
This being a sad moment for the family and friends i hope you do find comfort in our beloved God.
However i would also like to share a comforting message from the Bible that talks about our beloved ones who have fallen asleep in death including our very own Yvonne.
[ ] The verse is in Acts 24:15 《 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous 》
Have hope that a day is coming when God is going to resurrect our beloved ones who have fallen asleep in death including Yvonne .
Let’s keep the hope alive as we await to see her in the coming new world.
