Zachariah Mwaniki Kanjogu
25th August 1987 – 10th October 2019
It’s with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Zachariah Mwaniki Kanjogu following a tragic road accident along Eastern By-pass near Ruai. He was an employee of Safaricom PLC as an Energy Planning Engineer.
Loving son of Prof. John Kanjogu of Laikipia University and Grace Kanjogu. Dear husband of Monica Mbatha of Postal Corporation of Kenya (Nairobi). Father of Clinton Kanjogu of Donholm Catholic Pre-primary school and Ella Wanjiku. Brother of Magdalene Wanjiru (Laikipia University), Agnes Wambui (Nyahururu) and Christine Njoki (African Economic Research Consortium-AERC). Brother in law of Martin Njoroge (Gatero Girls) and Evans Mwangi (SMEC International).
Family and Friends are meeting daily at his parents’ home; Moi Estate Nyahururu from 5PM, Kiriko village Oraimutia Scheme Nyandarua west district from 5pm and Nairobi Norwich Union Towers Opposite Hilton Hotel, 7th floor room 2 from 7pm, for prayers and burial preparation.
The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Saturday 19/10/2019 at 8.30 am and thereafter a burial service to follow at his parents’ home in Oraimutia scheme, Kiriko Village in Nyahururu, Nyandarua County.
Zach, in Gods’ hands you rest, in our hearts you remain forever.
