It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Warrant Officer Two – Zakayo Kipkorir Taalam, of the Kenya Defence Forces, from Chemobei Village, Samutet Sub-location, Sitotwet Location, Kericho County.

Son to the late Rev. Solomon Bengat and the late Ann Bengat of Chemobei Village, Sitotwet, Kericho County. Son-in-law to the late John Terer and the late Elizabeth Terer of Kapkeelek Village, Kericho County.

Husband to Nancy Taalam. Father to June Chepchumba.

Brother to the late John Taalam, Esther Koskei, Ruth Mutai, Rebbeca Rono, Joseph Taalam, Salome Langat, Mary Bengat, Samson Taalam, Zacharia Taalam and Abraham Taalam.

In-law to the late Rachael Taalam, the late Monicah Taalam, Jane Taalam, Celestine Taalam, Zeddy Taalam and Mercy Taalam.

Brother-in-law to Samson Koskei, Gen. Jonathan Rono, the late Nelson Mutai and Eric Langat.

The cortege leaves Lazarus Funeral Home – Kericho on Friday 23rd June, 2023 for home, Chemobei Village and he will be laid to rest on 24th June, 2023 at home Chemobei Village, Samutet Sub-location, Sitotwet Location, Kericho County.
