Onesmus Ng’ang’a Njehu (Young Njehu)

It’s with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Onesmus Ng’ang’a Njehu (Young Njehu) from Acacia, Ruai, (formerly of Rironi, Limuru), which occurred on 15th April, 2023.

The last-born child of the late Njehu Gichini and his beloved wife the late Thaku Njehu, also known as Mukami Njehu. Brother to the late Isabella Nyora, the late Miriam Nyambaara,the late Elikana Gichini, the late Phyllis Wagio and the late Mary Warnbui.

Beloved husband to Lucy Wanjiru Ng’ang’a. Father to the late Joseph Njehu, Mary Mukami, Paul Gitau, Jane Njeri (UK), Isabella Wanjiku, the late Salome Nyokabi, Gichini Ng’ang’a (UK), Henry Njogu (UK), Peninnah Wambui, and Anthony Thuo (USA). Father-in-law to Christopher Mbuthia, Pastor Simon Muchiri (USA), Pastor Njoroge, Jane Giatu, Jane Gichini,Anne Njogu and Annie Thuo (USA).

Grandfather to Nganga Njehu, Mary Wanjiru, Wanjiru Njeri, Anthony Wainaina, Viola, Joseph Kamau, James Njehu, Mercy Muchiri, Brian Mukono, Faith Muchiri, Dennis, Newton Nganga, Melanie Wanjiru, Michelle Njoki, Ken Matere, Onesmus Nganga, Carolina Wanjiru, James Mwangi, John Mburu,Tracy, Lloyed Nganga, Karen Wanjiru, Reuben Wambui, Gianna Wanjiru and Giovanni Nganga. Great-grandfather to Georgina Nganga,Alvin Nganga, Melvin Nganga, Kabby Wainaina, Le Bron Wainaina, Mukami Wainpna,Adia Nyokabi and Pearl.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 7:00pm at their home in Acacia, Ruai for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 28th April, 2023 at 8:00am for funeral service at St. Cecilia Catholic Church – Acacia, Ruai at 9:00am. Burial service will thereafter follow at his home in Acacia, Ruai.
