It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Edward Arthur Adera Osawa which occurred on 5th March, 2024.

The late Mr, Adera Osawa was a retired teacher; politician; Former Executive Secretary KNUT, South Nyanza Branch; Chair of Luo Elders Forum; former Secretary General of Luo Council of Elders;

Patron of Goma United; Patron of Sakwa East Africa Luo Elders Forum among others.

He was the son of The late Osawa Nyangla and The late Dora Olum.

He was husband of Elizabeth Ayoo, Jane Aumo and Salome Akinyi.

He was brother of Prisca Ogola; Elsa Adoyo;The late Paulus Otok; The late Opiyo Osawa;The late Nyangira Osawa;The late Orego Osawa;The late Grace Ngala;The late Ombola Osawa; and The late Grace Muga.

He was cousin of Walter Madanje; Richard Madanje; Aluga Nyamwanda; The late Pitalis Okere; The late Nelson Ogutu among others.

He was brother in law of Rusalina Opiyo; The late Jennifer Ombola;The late Benedetta Otok among others.

Procession will be on Wednesday 10th April 2024 from Rosewood Funeral Home to his home in Kokuro Kombok
North Sub-Location, Awendo Sub-County, Migori County. He will be laid to rest at his First Home in Kokuro on 11th April 2024 with burial service led by Kokuro Central SDA Church under stewardship of Pastor Charles Nyakure, President of Ranen Conference.
