With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Brian Gesicho Anyona, 48, in Kisumu, Kenya on 2nd May, 2024 due to a heart attack.

Gesicho was the beloved eldest son of the late Mr. Abraham Anyona & Mrs. Alice Anyona, devoted husband of Lydia Bonareri, father of Jerusha Nyanchoka & Abraham Anyona Jr.

Brother of Brenda Nyaboke (the late), Edgar Bonuke, Gloria Boyani, Ruth Bochere, Isaiah Begi, Henry Kegengo & Dr. Johnson Omae.

Grandson of Pastor & Mrs Sylvanus Gesicho (the late) & Pastor and Mrs Johnson Agoki (the late).

Nephew of the late Mr & Mrs Isaiah Gesicho (the late), Mr & Mrs Mark Bosire (the late), Mr & Mrs Daniel Osoro,
Mr Matson (the late) & Ann Kebanga, Mr Ishmael (the late) & Mrs Eunice Mekenye, Mr & Mrs Elijah Bosire (the
late), Mr John (the late) & Milka Onyangi, Mr & Mrs John Mititi. Prof & Mrs. Japheth Maranga (the late), Dr & Mrs.
Steve Mainda, Ms. Eunice Nyamokami, Prof & Mrs George Agoki, Dr & Mrs Philip Mainda, Pastor & Mrs, Fred Mainda, Dr & Mrs Isaac Maragia, Dr & Mrs Cleve Mainda.

Son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Isaac Mayienda (the late), Bro-in-law of Rachael, Nelson, Cynthia, Brian. Eng. Micah, Ayesha, Dr. Susan. Uncle of George, Jabali, Arianah, Jacob, Hazel and Denzel. Cousin of many.

Family and friends are invited to join in daily gatherings at the Matutu – Nyamira home and Dunga – Kisumu Home to honor Gesicho’s memory.

A prayer service and viewing of the body will be held at Kwee Farewell Home, Kisumu on Friday, May 10th 2024, at 2 pm. Gesicho will be laid to rest on Sunday May 12: 2024 at the Family Home in Matutu, Nyamira County.
