Elizabeth Obelie Attika

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of Elizabeth Obelie Attika, of Bellevue Hospital and formerly of The Aga Khan University Hospital, that occurred on 6th June 2022 after a short illness.
Elizabeth was a loving daughter to the late Rogers Malumbe and the late Jenipher Mbobo Malumbe. Cherished Wife to Wycliffe Attika. Beloved mother to David Webster Attika (Advocate of the High Court of Kenya) and Sharon Janetta Attika (Canada).
Adored sister to the late Rev.William Rogers Malumbe,Violet Makokha, Lydia Mumassaba, Rose Osakha, Agnes Kakai, Victor Malumbe, Charles Malumbe, Baxton Andai and Christabel Ong’ayo. Treasured mother-in-law to Hon. Susan Gakii Gitonga (Magistrate).
Doting grandmother to Jayson Asher Attika, Ivan Abraham Attika and Shawn Micah Attika.
Sister-in-law to Rev. Melissa Rogers, the late Susan Malumbe, Antonina Malumbe, Mary Malumbe, Mathias Mumassaba, Harrison Makokha, the late Wilson Osakha, Edward Kakai, Cleophas Matukho, the late Susan Wanga, the late Esau Attika, Judith Aseka and Joyce Masinde. Elizabeth was a cousin, aunt and friend to many who shall dearly miss her.
Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at her home in NHC Langata Phase I.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home on Thursday, 23rd June for funeral service at Don Bosco Catholic Church, Upperhill at 10.00am. Thereafter, the burial will be held on Saturday, 25th June, 2022 in Ebukambuli, Khwisero.
