Abijah Waiyego Muhoro

 16 October 1965 – 28 April 2020

It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of the late Abijah Waiyego Muhoro at Nairobi Hospital.

At the time of her death, Abijah was the Deputy Director at the National Registration Bureau, Ministry of Interior based at the Headquarters.

Abijah was the daughter of Isabella Muguru Muhoro and the late Samuel Muhoro Kamunyu of Mukangu Village, Kahuhia Location, Kiharu Sub-County of Murang’a County. Sister of Julius Kamunyu and the late Milkah, Erastus Gacugu and Margaret, Margaret Kibe and the late Julius, Kamunyu Muhoro and Dorcas, the late Kentguma Kadir, the late Dora and Lily, Maina Muhoro and Milkah (Mima) and Daniel Mwangi and Esther. She was a beloved Aunty and Grams to many. Abijah leaves behind her caring husband S. G. Wanyoike and loving son Emmanuel Muhoro.

She will be laid to rest in Lang’ata Cemetery, Nairobi on Wednesday 6 May 2020.This will be a private funeral ceremony and only family members and selected close friends will attend in observance of the current COVID- 19 government directives.
