It’s with profound shock that we announce the passing of our beloved Abijah Wangechi Theuri of Kianjwe Village, Gitundu Sub-location, Iria-Ini Location, Othaya Sub-County, Nyeri County.

Beloved wife of the late Augustine Theuri. Beloved Daughter of the late Patrick Kihato (Kimotori) & the late Zippora Wangui. Mother of the late Mary Njoki Nderitu (Jolly Boy), Joseph Thang’a, Paul Kihato, Emilio Ngotho, the late Patricia Wangui Kariuki, Peter Kinyua, the late Charles Kabera, Theresa Wanjiru, Lucy Wangari, Virginia Wairimu, the late George Mwangi And Anne Wanjiku (USA).

Sister of Ruth Wangari Wabita, Muringi Mwenja, Felista Mweru Njuguna, the late Anne Njoki Kariuki, the late Kinyua (Wamathaga) Charles Mwangi, the late Paul Mwai. Step Sister of the late Ambrose Kinyua, the late Naomi Wangari Kagiri, the late Elijah Mwai, Joyce Wangui Gaturuku, Joseph Githiri, Laban Theuri, JB Kinyua and Charles Kimunyi. Grandmother And Great Grandmother of many.

Friends and family are meeting at Emmacra Hotel and in her home in Kianjwe Village from 6:00 pm daily.

The cortege leaves Kiria-Ini Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 5th September 2019 at 9:00am for the burial service at the grave side in her home starting from 11:00am.
