It is with deep sorrow and profound shock that we announce the death of Advocate Charles Marube Getanda of MC Getanda & Co. Advocate -Nakuru, a Lecturer of Egerton University faculty of LLB. after a long illness which occurred on the 6t February 2023.

Husband to Alice Bosibori Asiago of DCI Nakuru. Father to Celestine Getanda Marube (Dedan Kimathi University) and Zachary Getenga Marube (formerly Kabianga Boys High School).

Son to the late Samson Getanda Sunda and the late Esther Kemunto Getanda. Son in law to the late Zachariah Asiago Ogoti and Josephine Nyanchama. Brother to Eunice Biyaki, Geoffrey Machoka (Cosmopolitan Sacco), late Rael, Abel (Rtd. Police), Sunda (Manga Juvenile Remand), Nyagaka (Kyamulendu High School), Elijah (UK), Risper (Hyrax Pri).

Brother in-law to the late Onchuang’i, Wilfred Mbeche (RVIST), Jane, Janes (La Madonna), Violet (NCC), Beatrice (UK), Hyline, Alex (US), Geoffrey, Josphat (US), Vincent (US).

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence, Kiamunyi Estate, Nakuru and Lions Hotel (Rigena) Nakuru.

The main fundraising will be on 15th February 2023 at Lions Hotel (Rigena), Nakuru.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on 16th February 2023 t 2.00pm for a church service at Kiamunyi East SDA Church and thereafter to his residence for body viewing. Burial is scheduled for 17th February 2023 at Kiamunyi Estate – Nakuru. Funeral service will be conducted at Royal Gardens past Olive Inn along Nakuru-Kabarak Road as from 8.30 am.

Marube we loved you as a kind father of all.
