Agnes Wangeci Kariuki

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother Agnes Wangeci Kariuki of Githingiri Thika, Kiambu County which occurred on 9th October 2019.

Loving wife of Peter Kariuki Kiraba (Kawangui) of Dry tree Contractors Thika, mother of Jane Wanjiru, Naomi Wambui (Thika), Joyce Wangui (Ruiru prison), Sarah Njoki (Thika Flame Tree Estate), Emma Wanjiku (Consolidated bank head office) and Ann Wangari Kariuki (USIU, Africa). Sister of Mary Wambui, Paul Kiruga, the late Thomas Muriranja and Immaculate Wanjiku Mbogo. Daughter-in-law of Miriam Wangui kiraba. Sister in law of Jeremiah Miugaai, George Gakahu, Peter Mukurumaa, Felistus Wangari, Joseph Kiraba (KNUT) and Isaac Mugweru (Isamu Refrigeration). Grandmother of Stephen Kariuki, Lucy Wambui, Angela Wangechi, Dennis Mwangi, Veronica Wanjiru, Ann Wanjiku Mwangi, Janice Wangechi, Nicolas Kariuki (Muhoho High Sch), jayden Kariuki, Nathan Sang’ania and Jabali Gichia. An aunt of many.

Funeral arrangements and prayers are taking place daily at her husband’s home in Githingiri Estate Muranga County, Coconut Grill Thika, and Gatundu South Mutimumu Village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary on Wednesday 16th October, 2019 for burial at their farm in Kenol Kimorori, Muranga County.

Mum, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. (2nd timothy 4:7).
