It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that the family of Dr. John M. Khaminwa and the late Honourable Lady Justice Joyce N. Khaminwa regret to announce the passing of their son Albert George Shihemi Khaminwa who was called suddenly to be with our creator on the 25th May 2017. He was a Senior Partner in the law firm of Khaminwa & Khaminwa Advocates. He was the holder of a LL.B (Hops) and a LL.M (International Law) from the University of Warwick.
He is survived by his wife Cecilia and his daughter Hillary Joyce Khaminwa. Brother of Anne, Arthur, and Angela. Son-in-law of the late Mark and Susan Moronge. Beloved nephew of Tom Mujidi, David and Robai Khaminwa, the late Judith Eramoga Khaminwa, James and Wilhemina Khaminwa, the late Simon and Beatrice Khamasi, Charles Ford and Mary Khaminwa, Johnson and Edith Kagagi, the late James Gathuku, Martha Gathuku, Robert and Rose Macharia, the late Penniah Gathuku, the late Geoffrey Gathuku, Joseph and Nancy Gathuku.
Brother-in-law of Dr. Raymond Muhula, Kate, Esther, Mike, Anne, Regina, Monica, the late Virgina, Nicholas, Anthony and Lucy among others. Cousin of Dr. Dan Kagagi, John, Lillian, Billy, Millicent, Larry, Bilha, Morris, Linet, Oscar,Allan,Anthony Edwin, Eric, Beverly, the late Lavender,Valentine, Sonia,Antoinette, Ralph, Geoffrey Nicholas, Flora, Njoki, Emily, the late Amos Kimanga, Ivyone, Christine, Jackline, Gathuku Macharia, Pheobe Musymi,Tambo, Irvin Gathuku, Pheobe, Oliver and uncle of many. Family and Friends are meeting at the residence of Dr. John M. Khaminwa in Karen and All Saints Cathedral from 3 I st May 2017. He will be laid to rest at the family home along Farm Lane in Karen on Wednesday the 7th of June 2017.
