Alexander Mwangi Warira

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Alexander Mwangi Warira which occurred on 28th May, 2019 at Nairobi Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Until his death, he was the County Director of Youth Affairs, Machakos County.

A loving son of Ben Warira Mwangi and Ida Muthoni Warira of Gathinja village (Murang’a). Husband of Agnes Wanjiku Mwangi (Kenyatta University). Doting father of Christine Muthoni (formerly of Karima Girls High School), Victor Warira and Vincent Kamau (both of Precious Blood Primary School, Juja). Brother of Stella Nduta (Minnesota, USA) and Angelica Mumbi (Nairobi Hospital). Son-in-law of the late Nehemiah Kamau Ndiga and the late Naomi Nyakeru Kamau of Gatanga (Murang’a). Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Norwich House 4th floor, Nairobi and his home Kenyatta road along Thika Super Highway (Exit 14) Daima Estate from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 7am, on Friday 7th June, 2019 for funeral service at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Gathinja at 10.00am. Thereafter burial at his father’s farm in Mukungai, Gathinja village, Kahuhia location, Murang’a County.

You fought a good fight Alexander, you won the race.. May you rest in eternal peace
