Alfred Kipkorir Gimnyigei

The Gimnyigei family wishes to announce the passing on of Alfred Kipkorir Gimnyigei, on 28th March, 2021.

Son of the late Benjamin Kipkemboi Gimnyigei and the late Mary Cheboo Gimnyigei. Grandson of the late Rev. Samuel Gimnyigei and the late Maria Gimnyigei and the late Joshua Tum and the late Anne Tum.

Husband of the late Sarah Jepkorir and Gladys Chebet Gimnyigei. Loving father of Sammy Kipruto, Tracy Cheptoo, Graham Kipkemboi and Nicol Chelagat. Brother of the late Loice Chebet, Betty Kimurgor, the late Martin Gimnyigei, the late Rebbeca Chelimo, Julie Gimnyigei, Miriam Gimnyigei and Esther Gimygigei. Cousin and uncle to Many.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary, on Friday 2nd April, 2021, for a church service at AIC Gimnyigei-Kipkenyo. Burial will be held on Saturday 3rd April 2021 at his home Kipkenyo, Uasin Gishu County from 10.00am.
