Alfred Mugambi

The Chuka University fraternity is deeply saddened by the death of Mr. Alfred Mugambi Kaburi, which occurred on Monday, 1st August, 2022. Until his demise he was a staff of Chuka University, Internal Audit department.

Loving husband to Elosy Kainyu Alfred. Devoted father to Prince Valentine Mureti and a guardian to Victor Munene.

Son to the late Eustace Kaburi and the late Modesta Kanyua Kaburi. Brother to Gorret Kangai, Michael Kithinji, Dennis Mwaniki, the late Marklus Kirimi and Mark Joseph Mwendwa.

Alfred was son-in-law to Anniceta Kaari and the late Josphat Kanampiu.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his family home, Gakwegoni Village, Karongoni Sub-Location,Tharaka-Nithi County.

The cortege will leave Lampedusa Funeral Home on Thursday 11th August, 2022 at 9.00 a.m. for the funeral service at Kangutu Catholic Church and later burial will be held at his home on the same day.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the larger Chuka University community.
