Alfred Ngila Maweu

It is with deep sorrow and profound shock that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Alfred Ngila Maweu on 25th June, 2020 following a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Elijah Maweu Kioli and Alice Maweu. Son-in-law of Annah Matenge. Husband of Martha Mwende. Dedicated and adoring father of Kennedy Maweu Ngila, Stacy Mutheu Ngila (JKUAT), Ian Kioli Ngila (Moi Forces). Guardian father of Stephanie Mutheu, Mercy Mueni, Annah Mutheu (Maryhill Girls). Dotting grandfather of Sekani Ngila. Employee of Kengen Olkaria. Loving brother of Teresia, Nzau (Djibouti), the late Mwilu, Evelyn, Prof. Kioli (SEKU), Mrs Katumo (NCC), Maureen, Carol, Mutuku (KP&L) Emily, Faith, Laureen and late Kioli. Brother-in-love of Mutinda, Mulei, the late Jane, Ndambuki, Eunice, the late Muinde, Ndanu, Mwaka, Rev. Ndeto, Rev Njuguna and Jane Wanza. Nephew of Mutiso, Mweu, Muia, Patricia, Hellen, the late Nancy, the late Mutumi, the late Katumbi, the late Nduku, Mwikali, Nzisa,Wanza, and Ndulu.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 3rd July 2020 to Montezuma Funeral Home in Machakos. The final journey to rest Alfred will start at 7am to his home at Katetani village on Saturday 4th July 2020.
