It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that announce the passing on of Alice Awuor Otambo, (formerly of Judiciary-Siaya Law Courts) on 21/06/2019 after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Jackob Abon`g and the late Joyce Adipo Abon’g of Kaluo, Got Oyenga village, Siaya county. Wife of Simon Peter Otambo of Kogelo, Pap Oriang’ village. Co-wife of Pauline Awuor Otambo. Mother of the late Elizabeth Auma, Hellen Akinyi, the late Habil Apindi and Fredrick Oduor. Step-mother of Francis Oludhe, the late Ezekiel Apindi, Dorine, Christine, Erick and Jared. Sister of the late Naftali Ogol, Alfred O. Abon’g’, Richard A K’Abon’g and John W. Abon’g. Mother-in-law of Steven Okwach, Tom Ouma, Purity, Rosemary, Florence, Ruth, Grace and Georgina. She was Aunty (Waya) of the late Jane Omuga, Dorcas Okok, Antonina Acholla, Rose Wambutta among others, Cousin of Samuel Obiero, John Ondiek, Richard Angaga among others. Grandmother of the late Vincent (Don). Beryl, Gadwil, Zill, Stacy, Churchil among others. Nyawana of the late Jekonia Obor, the late Christine Obor, Albert Ouma, the late Zilper Akong’o, the late Bedarn Omollo, the late Lydia Omollo. Joseph Madanje Odiere and Selline Auma Owegi.

Burial arrangements are ongoing at her home in Kogelo Pap Oriang’ village.

The cortege leaves Bama Funeral Home on 04/07/2019 for a requiem mass service at CCA Church-Siaya from 10am.

Burial will be on 05/07/2019 (Friday) in Alego Kogelo Pap Oriang village, Siaya County.
