Alice Wangari Babu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Alice Wangari Babu of Kayu Village Kihoya Location, Kangema.

Wife of the late Stephen Babu Gachau. Mother of Beatrice Njeri Gikuma (Kayu ),Wilson Gachau Babu and, Grace Wangari (Nalvasha), Joyce Wambui and late Ngunyi Ndegwa Rimerman), Architect James Kangara Babu and Nancy Muthoni (Kahawa Sukari). Julius Mwinga Babu (USA) and Esther Wangari, Professor Waithaka Wa Babu and Lucy Wambui (USA), Jane Waithera Babu (Kayu), Agness Wangeci and Ng ‘ang’a (Zimerman), Jamlek Kamau and Penina Wanjiru (Kayu), Lawrence Burugu and Njeri (Kabati).

Relatives are meeting daily at Kayu Bar and Restaurant Nairobi, Kahawa Sukari Estate (James Babu’s Residence) and Kayu home Murang’a.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Mortuary on Monday 7/8/ 2017 at 6.30am for funeral service at Kayu Primary School grounds from 10.30am. Funeral will follow thereafter at her home Kayu village.
