Allan Njoroge Ngugi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to Glory of Mr Allan Njoroge Ngugi, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Wambui Ngugi.

Son of the late Njoroge Wandua and the late Wambui wa Njoroge (wa Munana) and son-in-law of the late Mwaura wa Irari and Edith Njeri Mwaura

Cherished father of Anthony and Vivianne Ngugi, Margaret and Col. (Rtd). Seth Shava, Catherine Ngugi and Gordon Anampiu, and Andrew Mwaura Ngugi. Grandfather of Dr. Alexander Ngugi, Adrian Nganga.,Malesi Muthoni, Wambui Ivasha and Mwaura Njoroge. Great grandfather of Farai.

Brother of the late Samuel Mburu, Margaret Wanjiru Waweru, the late Peter Kimemia, Prof. Nganga Njoroge; and step-brother of Margaret Wanjiru Gachoka, Florence Wanjiku Nyaga and the late Alice Mwihaki Njoroge. In-law of the late William Irani, the late Gladys Wanjiku Kamau, the late Raymond Kiarie, the late Geoffrey Ngugi, Miriam Njeri Kuria, Charles Ngethe, Eileen Wanjiru Kinyua; the late JS Nganga and the late Leah Wanjiru Nganga; the late John Machisu Shava and the late Helen Malesi Shava and; Ruth Njeri Anampiu.

The funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Nairobi, on Friday 3rd January 2020 at 10.00am, followed by burial at home,

2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
