Appreciation

We, the Family of Ambassador Dr. Bethuel A. Kiplagat wish to express our deep and sincere gratitude to everyone who stood with us during his illness and passing away. We simply cannot thank you enough for your spiritual, emotional, financial and material support during these most difficult of times.

We would like to thank all those who sent us such wonderful tributes and condolence messages, all those who visited us at home and those who worked tirelessly to ensure that we gave Ambassador Kiplagat an amazing and fitting memorial service and funeral, which celebrated his life and legacy.

We would like to extend our special thanks to The Government of Kenya, in particular the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade led by Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Dr. Amina Mohamed. We cannot thank you enough. May God bless you abundantly for all the very special and great support you provided Ambassador Kiplagat and our family from the onset of his diagnosis.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Anglican Church of Kenya led by His Grace the Archbishop Dr. Jackson Ole Sapit, the Bishop of Nairobi the Right Reverend Joel Waweru, the Bishop of Kapsabet the Right Reverend Paul Korir, the Bishop of Eldoret the Right Reverend Dr. Christopher Ruto and the Vicar of St. Marks Church Westlands the Venerable Canon Jane Mwangangi and the Reverend Tenai of the Parish of Mosop East (Mosoriot). We would also like to thank the Reverend Philip Owuor, Chaplain who visited Ambassador Kiplagat regularly as well as the Ladies Fellowship of St. Marks church Westlands and the Kenya Girl Guides Association for their very special support, encouragement and prayers. We would also like to thank Dr. Jeilan, Dr. Silverstein, Professor Linch, Dr. Muhindi, Dr. Kahuho, Dr. Waweru, Dr. Kahugu as well as the Nursing teams at the University College Hospital London, at the Aga Khan University Hospital and at the Nairobi Hospital North Wing. You did everything to provide the very best care to Ambassador Kiplagat.

To each and every one who condoled with us during this difficult time and for whatever part you contributed, please accept this humble expression of our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation. God Bless each one of you abundantly.
