Amos Ndung’u Gathitu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on Amos Ndung’u Gathitu, that occurred 31/03/2021. (Former employee of Nyeri County Council).

Son of the late Gichuki Gathitu, the late Wothaya Gathitu and the late Janet Wagutu Gathitu. Husband of Margaret Wangui Ndung’u. Father of the late Sammy Gichuki and Jane Wanjiku (Nairobi), Virginia Wanjiku and George Ngugi (USA), Mutahi and Hannah Murugi (Muhotetu), Jane Mwihaki and Tonny Kamau (UK), Nancy Njeri (KNLS) and Cllr. S. M Wambugu (Tetu), Agnes Wanjiru (ILIRI) and Peter Mukiri (Uthiru). Step-brother of the late King’ori, Kimathi, the late Njeri, the late Nyawira, the late John and Sarah.

Grandfather of Mr and Mrs Ng’ang’a (Germany), Wangui and Dan (Nairobi),Wairigo and Penninah (Nairobi), Mr and Mrs Eng.Ndung’u (USA), Penninah Mukiri (Uthiru), Eng. Albert Maina (Nairobi), Simon Kanyoro (KCA University), Dr. Mike Karao (USA), Ivy Maina (MKU University), Claudia Mukiri (TUK University). Great-great-grandfather of Wanjiku Ndung’u (USA) and Wanjiru Ndung’u (USA), Sammy Gichuki and Shawn Wairigo (Nairobi).

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan), on Wednesday 07/04/2021 at 8.00am for funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Kirirwa, Ndugamano, Tetu Sub-county.
