Anastasia Muthoni Makumi

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mr Anastasia Muthoni Makumi that occurred on Tuesday 14th January 2020 at Agha Khan Hospital after a short illness. She was the deputy head teacher at Karima Primary School.

Anastasia was a wife of Mr. Makumi Ngangu (Kirinyaga County Government). Mother of Rita Wanjiru and Clement Ngangu. Daughter of the late Joseph Kariuki and Maryanne Wamaitha.

Her siblings include Agnes Wanjiru, Jacob Mwangi, Sr. Agatha Njeri, Angelina Wambui, Jacinta Njoki, Margaret Wairimu, John Mureithi and Peter Munyi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at 4 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements at Mr. Makumi’s home in Tuthamba village. Sagana in Kirinyaga County.

The cortege leaves Kibugi funeral home on Thursday, 23rd January 2020 at 9.00am to Blessed Alamano Githuguya Catholic Church Sagana where the funeral service will take place and burial thereafter at their home.
