It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Ann Mary Wangui Gachua of Kiangai Sub-location Kirinyaga County, which occurred on 27th June, 2022.

Wife of the late Stephen Aurelius Gachua. Daughter of the late Meshack Kangi and Sarah Wairimu.

Daughter-in-law to the late Stephen Murimi and Priscilla Thuguri. Mother to Antony Murimi, the late Pricilla Thuguri, Martin Kangi, and the late Nyaga Gachua.

Mother-in-love to Margaret Wanjiku Murimi and Gillian Wanja Ngari Kangi.

Grandmother to Bridget Nyawira, Maureen Kangi, Blixen Eve Wangui, Wangui Kangi, O’Brien Wangu, Aurelius Kinyua, Regina Muthoni, Ryan Gachua and Raymond Mutinda. Great-grandmother to Loveleen Wanjiku.

Sister to Margaret Kirimi, the late Karimi Kange, Elizabeth Muturi, Catherine Kang’ethe, Mary Kange and Mathenge Kange.

Sister-in-law to Beatrice Gathigia, Wilson Karani, Judith Nyawira, Judy Wanjiru, the late Michael Muriithi, the late Eunice Muthoni and Margaret Wanjiku.

Prayer meetings are being held at her home every day, starting at 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital – Karatina on Tuesday 5th July, 2022, at 8:30am, followed by the funeral service that will be held in Kianwe Catholic Church, at 11:00am and thereafter burial will be held at her home.
