Ann Wairimu Gicheru

It’s with humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved mum, Mrs. Ann Wairimu Gicheru of Mbogo-ini Sub-Location, Tumutumu Location, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Henry Kang’ethe Jobah and Jane Waithera Kang’ethe. Wife of the Late James Gicheru Wamae. Mother of Peterson Wamae (Kiambu County), Faith Wangui, Rosemary Wanjiru (The Nairobi Hospital), Henry Kang’ethe & Jobah Njoroge. Sister of Margaret Wanjiru, Mary Muthoni (The National Treasury), Jobah Njoroge (Businessman – Murang’a County), Philip Mwangi (Ministry of Water — Narok County), Susan Micere, Kang’iri Mburu (Mugumo-ini Pri. Sch.), Ruth Wanjiku, the late Wanjiru Mumbi and Joseph Kamande (Evangelist, PCEA Kandara Parish). Sister-in-law of George Murigu (USA), Duncan Nderitu (Stanhope Engineers), Fredrick Wachira, Eunice Wanjiru, Rev. Grace Kang’ethe (Calvary Temple), Rosebell Wanjugu, Catherine Waithiegeni (Urban Pri. Sch), Lydiah Waringa & Jane Njoki.Aunty of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her residence inMbogo-ini Sub-location, Tumutumu Location, Mathira West Sub-county, Nyeri County. Daily meetings are also being held in Nairobi at Tumaini House, 5th Floor starting from 5.30pm to 8.00.pm.

The cortege leaves Tumutumu Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 12th March, 2020 at 7.30am for funeral service at Giagatika PCEA Church from 10.00am and thereafter burial at her Mbogo-ini home.

Mum, In God’s arms you have always belonged and now, it is in God’s arms that you rest. We thank the Lord for the most beautiful gift that you gave to us. In our hearts you will live forever and we shall always carry your love and spirit forward.
