It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on Ann Wanjiru Githae.

Daughter of the late Mr. Kimani Mbira & Mrs. Miriam Nyambutu Kimani of Ngewa, Githunguri. Wife of Dr. Jack Kaguu Githae of Ruringu Nyeri and co-wife to Amy Wairimu and the late Dr. Jane Wangari. Mother to Kimani, Nancy Njeri, Miriam Gathoni, Rose Wangechi, Lucy Wamuyu and Jacob Waweru. She was step mum to Waweru, Wachera, Muthoni, Wangeci, Wangu, Wangui, the late Mwaniki, Ndiritu, Mwangi, Wambui, Marandi, Waithaka, Muriithi and the late Wacera. Sister to the late Joseph Muchiri, Alice Njeri, James Thumbi, Esther Njoki, Naomi Wambui Stephen Gitau, Samuel Kiburi and the late Mary Wamu. Sister in law, mother-in-law, grandmother and colleague to many.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan) on Tuesday 15/9/2020 at 8.30 am for funeral service and burial thereafter at their home at Meeting Point, Ruring’u, Nyeri starting at 10.30 am.
