Ann Wanjiru Murigu (Shiru)

With thanksgiving and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the passing on of Ann Wanjiru Murigu (Shiru) of Gaikuyu Sub-location, Magutu location, Mathira East Sub-County, Nyeri County and a former employee of Kenya Breweries.

Daughter of Cyrus Murigu Kanyi and Rose Wangui Murigu. Sister of Shelmith Kinuthia, William Kanyi and Alex Muriuki. Sister in-law of James Kinuthia and Evelyn Kanyi. Auntie of Winnie, Keith, Cyrus, Rose and many others. Granddaughter of the late Mr William Kanyi, the late Shelmith Mwonjoria, the late Anne Wanjiru, the late Muriuki and Beatrice Wanja. Cousin of Shelmith, Ndirangu, Theuri, Kanyi, Wambugu, Wangui, Njoki, Muriuki, Wanjiru, William, Carol among others. Niece of Solomon, Virginia, Penis, Nancy, Jane, Mary, Benson, Geoffrey and Mureithi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her parent’s home in Gaikuyu and Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital, Karatina on Friday 23rd August 2019 at 8.30 am for funeral service and burial at her home Gaikuyu Village at 10 am.
