Anne Muthoni Kimathi

Death has occurred of Anne Muthoni Kimathi (formerly of Java and Rangers restaurants).

Daughter of the late Christina Wangari Gitonga and Granddaughter of the late Gitonga Wamathi and Emily Muthoni Gitonga of Kiruga Village, Itemeini Sub-location, Othaya Division, Nyeri South District. Mother of Ashley Daniel (Kenya Institute of Management) and Sister of James Maina and Robert Mwangi. Sister-in-law of Rachel Wanjiku and Jacinta Muthoni. Niece of Wothaya Munge, Kirigo Kimani the late Mwangi, Maina Gitonga, Wangechi Githimbo, Lucy Wanjiru, Joyce Wairimu and Grace Wakihia. Cousin of Maina Munge, Wambugu Kimani, Kamau, Gitonga, Vicky Gitonga, Njeri Githimbo, Emma Muthoni and Zeliphar Wangechi, among many others. An aunt of Mwangi and Wangari.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Tumaini house 5th floor next to Kencom Bus stage, every day until Monday 14th October, 2019 starting from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Tuesday, 15th October, 2019 at 7.00am and thereafter burial service to take place at her late mother’s farm in Kiruga Village, Itemeini sub-location, Othaya Division, Nyeri South District starting at 11:00am.
