Anne Wambui Kanyi (Wa-Muchina)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition to Glory of Anne Wambui Kanyi.

Daughter of the late Geoffrey Muchina and the late Lydia Wangari. Wife of the late Moses Kanyi Kahia. Cherished mother of John Kahia, Charles Muchina, Eunice Wanjiru (U.S.A.), Margaret Wangari, Patrick Mutahi, Samuel Weru (U.S.A.), George Githinji, Damaris Wairimu (Canada), Judy Muthoni (Canada), Kennedy Muraguri and Gilbert Warui.

Mother-in-law of Faith Mirigo, Jane Muthoni, Julia Njeri, Mary Wanjiku (U.S.A.), Rose Njeri, Bilha Wangari, Godwin Amegbey (Canada) and Oliver Kamau (Canada). Grandmother of 29 children and great-grandmother of 16 children. Sister of the late Samuel Weru. Step-sister of the late Wanjiru Ng’ang’a and Beatrice Wakiini Mwai.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Saturday 26th September 2020 at 7:00 am. for her resting place at Gakima village, Githi location, Mukurwe-ini sub-county, Nyeri.
