Anne Wanjiru Charagu

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Anne Wanjiru Charagu wife of Benard Charagu which occurred on 2nd March, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital Kasarani after a short illness.

Beloved mother of Graham Gituthu (St. Scholastica Catholic School) and Gabriel Ndichu. Beloved daughter of the late Nancy Mugure Ndungu. Sister of George Ndichu Mugure, Reuben Kimemia and the late Margaret Njoki. Daughter-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Gituthu. Sister-in-law of James Mwangi, the late Richard Mushori, Jacinta Nyambura (Mrs. Kinene), Patrick Maina, the late Elizabeth Wanjiku, Irene Warwathia (Mrs. Ndegwa), Jane Muthoni (Mrs. Ndungu) and Joseph Irungu. Cousin of Milka Njeri, Anne Wanjiru Mwangi, Janet, Margaret, Nancy Mugure Ndungu, Beth, Mercy, Julia, Wainaina wa Muthoni, Gichui and Mwangi and many more.

Burial meetings are going on at their Huruma flats residence (Maisonette block 24K-Empire court) behind Huruma Police Station, every evening from 5.00pm.

A requiem mass will be held on 12th March, 2019 at St. Stephen Catholic Church-Mathare North Area 1.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral home for burial in Muranga, Mathioya, Gacharage-ini village on 13th March, 2019.

Fare thee well, Anne Wanjiru. We loved you, but God loved you more.
