Archdeacon Emeritus Ven. Wilson Oyamo Philip

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Archdeacon Emeritus Ven. Wilson Oyamo Philip that occurred on 1/12/2018.

Husband of the late Bethshebah Oyamo. Father of Rosemary Chemwajar (Murkwijit Primary school), Stephen Oyamo (Bukura Agricultural College) Bilhah Mbati (Butere), Joanna Simiyu (Bungoma County Government), Rhodah Mutende (Dagoretti High School) and Philip Oyamo (Butere). He was father in-law of the late Chemwajar, Charity, the late Mbati, Elses, Habil and Linda. He was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Eshikalame — Butere for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves St. Mary’s Mission Hospital mortuary — Mumias for a requiem mass on Thursday 13th December 2018 at the St Barnabas Shinamwenyuli Church.

The Burial will take place on Saturday 15th December 2018 at his home in Eshikalame sub-location, Etenje location South Wanga location, Mumias District – Kakamega County.
