Husband of Jane Monica Akinyi. Father of Rosenancy Luchiri, Pauline Nanjira, Maximilla Marangala, Joyce Muruka, Norah Auma, Doiphine Wakhu, Virginia Anyango, Okere Arnold Martin jnr, The Late Donnah Oingo, Emma Okere and Naomi Akinyi Okere. Father in-law of Fredrick Osanya, Victor Bwire, Wycliffe Washiali, Richard.

The cortege leaves Butula Mission Mortuary on Friday, 12th July 2019, The burial will take place on Saturday, 13th July 2019 at his home in Indangalasi Sub-Location, Matungu Sub-County, Kakamega County.
