Ashford Mwenda Manyara

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce the passing of our beloved Ashford Mwenda Manyara in U.S.A after a cardiac attack.

The first born son of Justus Simon Manyara and the late Julia Kajuju Manyara of Milimani Meru. Adopted father of Benjamin Gitonga, cherished father of Brian Thuranira and Brenda Nkatha. Loving brother of Charlie Kaimenyi (Illinois), Franklin Mbaabu and Ernest Mwiti. Sister in law to Naomi, Doris and Maggie. He will forever be remembered by his uncles, aunties, cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are meeting at the All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm on Tuesday 20th Nov and Wednesday 2Ist Nov in Nairobi. In Meru friends are meeting on Wednesday 21st Nov and Thursday 22nd Nov from 6.00pm at Paramount hotel.

Mwenda’s internment was done in Rockford, Illinois, USA. A thanksgiving and memorial service will be held on Saturday 24th November at their Milimani home, Meru starting from 11.00am.
