It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Richard Yego (Robini) of National Museums of Kenya which occurred on 27/12/2020.

Son of the late Hezekiah Yego Krelkutt, Margaret Tula Yego and the late Kopkikosgei of Sibow Tot Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Loving husband to the late Jacinta Keana and Valentine Yego (Diatomite, Gilgil).

Loving father to Cleophas (KIMC Nairobi), Paul Komen (JKUAT), Kevin Kirop (Christ the King, Nakuru) and Yvonne Chelagat (St. Paul Ogilgei Ngata).

Brother to the late John Yego, Dr. Yego, Ruto, Kipkorir, Dr. Kipkore (Eldoret University), Prof. Kibor (Kabarak), Pst. Andrew Krelkutt (Nakuru Baptist), Rebecca Boaz and many others.

Son in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Keana and the late Richard Chepsergon and Hellen Chepsergon of Baringo.

Brother in-law to Janet, Peter and others (Baringo) and John Osano, Bernadette Keana and others (Nakuru).

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ngata Shepherd Estate (Nakuru), Nairobi and Eldoret. There will be a fundraising on Wednesday 6th January 2021 at home in Ngata to assist the funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves War Memorial Mortuary on the 7th January 2021 for an overnight stay at home.

The Memorial Service will be held on 8th January 2021 at AGC Church Ngata and thereafter will be laid to rest at his home in Ngata.
