It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Basibika Obegi Ombwori which occurred after illness at War memorial hospital Nakuru on Wednesday May 8th 2019.

Daughter of the late chief Nyakundi of Kegogi Tambacha and Cheria. Sister of Kanisa and late Achira. Loving wife of the late Simon Ombwori. Daughter-in-law of Monari and Moraa of Nyakongo. Sister-in law of Nyaboke, Bwari, Halili. Mother of James, Charles, sister Josephine, Gichana, Erica, Florence, Jacky and Cecilia. Grandmother of Caroline, Joseph, Simon, Moraa, Sharon, Allan Bradley, Austin, Ivy, Obedi, Luis and Glorious.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Matieko village.

The cortege leaves war memorial funeral home on Thursday 16th May 2019 at 9am.

Mass and burial will be at her home in Kisii county, Mosocho sub county Matieko village.

There will be a fundraiser to offset hospital bill and funeral expenses on Wednesday 15th May 2019 at city court one within city hall premises at 5.30pm.
