It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beatrice Aoko Otieno Ayugi (retired Chief Inspector formerly of Kilimani Police Station) which occurred on 8th May 2021 after a sudden illness.

Beloved wife of Colonel (retired) Dr James Otieno Ayugi formerly of Forces Memorial Hospital.

Mother to Teresia Adhiambo Ayugi, Robert Omondi Ayugi and Sandra Awino Ayugi.

Daughter of the late Mzee Barnabas Agola and the late Mania Mary Achieng Obiga.

Sister to Elizabeth Ochoo, Francis Owour (late), Jane Atieno Nangah (late), Judith Awuor, George Agola (Kenya Army HQ), Michael Omolo and Emerentia Adhiambo.

Daughter-in-law to the late Baba Joseph Ayugi and Mama Helena Ayugi.

Sister-in-law to Maurice Ayugi and the late Col. Fred Otunga Ayugi (formerly of Department of Defence).

Grandmother to Raymond Hakim Ochieng and Jabali Washington Kwaka and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Burial date is scheduled for Friday 21st May, 2021 at her residence in Rangwe, Homa Bay Country. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 20th May, 2021 for Rangwe, Homa Bay County.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at B2 Fieldcourt Apartments, Kabarnet Road (off Ngong Road), close to Rose of Sharon School daily from 5.00pm – 8.00pm.
