The Directors and Management of Hotel Rio regret to announce the demise of their Chairperson, Mrs. Beatrice Mumbi Kiguongo (Kimani) wife to the late Samuel Kiguongo Kimani which occurred on the 7th of September 2018 at Nairobi Hospital following a long illness bravely borne.

Loving mother of Amb. Jean Wambui Kimani, the late Hillary Kimani, James Karani Kimani (Hotel Rio) and David & Cecilia Gatheca (USA). Daughter of the late James Karani Muhia and the late Penninah Wambui of Kiamwangi Location Gatundu. Daughter-in-law of the late Daniel Kimani Kiguongo and Penninah Kiguongo of Kibichoi. Sister of the late Esther Njeri Kiereini, the late Margaret Kibathi, the late Damaris Gikori, the late Peter Muhia, the late Sylvester Njenga, John Muhia Karani, Pst. Stanley Kimani, Florence Nduta and Essen Gitau.

Sister-in-law of Mary Nyambura Kamakiru, the late Wangari Njoroge, Rosemary Nyambura, Joan Wangari Kanuki, Ruth Wanjiku Gitahi, Edith Ruguru and John Gatheca Kimani, among others. Dotting Grandmother of Mumbi-Michelle Kimani (Morocco), Chris Kiguongo, Ivy Mumbi, Ian and Ashley Gatheca (USA) and Samuel Kiguongo (USA). Great Grandmother of Cairo Gatheca (USA).

Meetings will be held at St.Andrews church hall today Wednesday, 12th September 2018 at 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Lee funeral home on Thursday, 13th September 2018 at 8:30am for the funeral service to be held at Parklands Baptist Church, Westlands at 10.00am. The burial will be held on the same day at 2.00pm at her home in Gatiiguru, Kibichoi Location in Githunguri.
