Beridge Otieno Okong’o

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Beridge Otieno Okong’o on 17th August, 2022.

Beridge was the son of the late jorim Okong’o Oswago and Monica Ajuma Okong’o. Husband of the late Merab Christine Achieng Otieno. Son-in-law to the late Nashon Washington Obonyo and Joice Kate Nakanjako of Ugenya Kamrembo.

Father to Beryl Achieng, Dr Stephen Omondi and Miriam Anyango. Father-in-law to Dr. Cornelia Minya. Grandfather to Declan, Nathan. Sib and Jazeel.

Brother to Bether Sika, Leonorah Ornonds, Doreen Opondo, John Onyango, George Opondo, David Oginga, Loice Okoth, Patrick Okong’o, Bernice Awino Konyimbi, the late Dan Achieng’a. Charles Odhiambo and Vincent Okong’o. Beridge was an uncle and cousin to many.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary, Kisumu, on 2nd September, 2022 at 09.00am for prayers at St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu at 10.00am.

He will be laid to rest at his home in Oboke village, Kokwiri sub-location, West Uyoma location, Rarieda Sub-county on 3rd September, 2022, at 2.00pm.
