Berine Achieng’ Kinyua

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden demise of our dear Berine Achieng’ Kinyua, which occurred on 1st of May 2024 at The Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi.
She was the beloved wife and friend of Eng. Kinyua Mugambi of Kenya Rural Roads Authority. Loving mother of Alvin Mugambi Kinyua (UON), Tevin Mwenda Kinyua (Pioneer School), and Ivy Nkatha Kinyua (Riara School).
Adored daughter to the late Mzee Gideon Arthur Ong’ute and Mama Jephrice Ong’ute of Ebwiranyi Village, Bunyore,
Vihiga County. Daughter-in-law of the late James Mugambi M’miriti and the late Doris Muthoni.
Loving sister of Mary & Samson Waka, Roselyne Rogo, Kenneth & Grace Odhiambo, Jane & Alex Chokwe, Millicent & the late Ken Omondi, Eric & Myril Ong’ute, and Elizabeth Kusa.
Sister in-law of Rufus & Peninah Muthomi, Christine & Godfrey Limiri, Linnet & Dr. Mulwa Muteshi, Kathambi & Gitari Karimba, Fr. James Njeru Mugambi, Chelget Gaceri, Linda Kangai, Peter Mwenda and Michael Munene. Loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Prayers and funeral arrangements will take place on Monday, 6th May & Tuesday, 7th May, at 4.00 pm at her residence in Runda. A memorial service will be held at the PCEA Evergreen Church, Runda on Wednesday, 8th May 2024 at 3.00 pm.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 10th May, 2024 at 5,00 am. Funeral Service will be held at the
PCEA, Gakuuni Church at 10.00 am followed by the burial at her Ithitu Village Home, Igoji East, Meru County.
