It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Bernard Maturwe Okinyi of Thika Water and Sewerage Company which occurred on 1st May, 2020.

Loving husband of Juliana Nyambura Wathiru (County Government of Kiambu). Son of Evans Okinyi Maturwe and Mondester Magoma Okinyi. Father of Sylvia Kerubo, Ann Lily Waithera and Sharon Mokeira. Brother of Alex Nyakundi, Lydia Nyanchera, Henry Onkeo, Jared Mayenye, Ivana Tabitha, Ann Uno and Casper Orutwa. Brother-in-Law of Andrew Kibithe, Martin Njoroge, Thomas Kiarie and Elizabeth Njeri. He was a mentor, a leader, a friend and an Uncle to many.

The cortege leaves Thika on Thursday 7th May, 2020 for buriaI on Friday 8th May, 2020 at their home in Nyamira County, Manga Sub County in Ekoro Village.
