Bernard Muturi Karanja

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Bernard Muturi Karanja on 04/04/22 at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the Late James Karanja and Jemima Kibugi of Mitero Village, Mang’u. Husband to Euncie Kirugu and Father to Maureen Wanjiku, Jacinta Njambi, Erick Mbugua and James Karanja.

Son-in-law to Late Allan Mbugua and Loice Mwerereini of Mitero, Mang’u. Brother to Mary Wambui (USA), Bridgid Waithaka, Petty Kigwe, the late Nicholas Kibugi, Leonard Kibe (USA), the late Michael Kimemia, Janet Wairimu (USA), Eunice Njeri (USA) & Edwin Karanja.

He was a cousin, Uncle, Grandfather & Karanja great grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and burial arrangements daily at the family home in Mukurwe, Mang’u and Blue Springs Hotel Thika Rd daily from 6pm. The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Funeral Home on the 13th April 2022 Wednesday at 8am.
Mass and burial rites will be held at home starting from 12pm.
