Bernard Ng’ang’a Gatune

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Mr. Bernard Ng’ang’a Gatune on 25th September 2020.

He was the son of the late Zacharia Gatune Mithenya and the late Mary Mukuhi Gatune, step-son to Catherine Njoki Gatune. Loving husband to Mary Njeri Gatune. Father to Zacharia Gatune, Ernest Muhoro (USA), Susan Mukuhi, George Mithenya (USA) and father in law to Catherine, Elitah & Carter.

Brother to the late George Gatune, the late Eunice Karume, Benjack Gatune, Esther Wathoni, Hannah Wambui, the late Ruth Wanjiru and Jeremiah Kage, step-brother to the late Julius Gatune and others. He was the son-in-law to the late Ernest Muhoro and the late Grace Nyambura. Grandfather to Sharlene, Peninnah, Ernest, Bernard, Niya, Ethan, Samantha and George. He was an uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Ongata Rongai (opposite Total Petrol Station) from 4,00pm.

The Cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Friday 2nd October 2020 at 10.00am. Funeral service and burial at his home in Ongata Rongai from 12.00 noon.

A light has gone out of our lives, but our happy memories remain. Amen
