Beth Wanjiku Nugi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Beth Wanjiku Nugi announce the passing of our matriarch on 18.04.2020. She passed on peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

Wanjiku lived in Kiamumbi Estate, Kiambu. She was a member of PCEA Kahawa Farmers Church, an educator and a well-known farmer. She will be laid to rest at her farm in Karatina, Gatamaiyu, Githunguri, Kiambu.

Beth Wanjiku Nugi was the daughter of the late Eliud Gatheca and Emily Wanjiku Gatheca. Mother to Mary Muthoni Ngati, Emily Wanjiku, Nyambura Kinuthia, late Beatrice Njeri, Wilfred & Susan Munene, Eliud & Grace Gathecha. Sister to Beatrice Kori, Jane Mbiu, Ruth Gaitho, Damaris & Cyrus Wambugu, Mercy & Peter Muhoho, Geoffrey & Nelius Gitau, Nancy & George Kimani. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Her funeral will be held in private in compliance with the Kenya Government restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
