We O’brien Shahenza, Lindsey Khasoha and Dennis Simani regret to announce the passing on of our Dear Mum Betty Nyagoha on 12th March 2021 after a valient struggle with illness.
She was a daughter to the late James Lugano and Esther Kamonya_ Sister to the late Samuel, Iate Rueben, late Leah, late Benson, late Bosco, Jesca, Miriam, Hudson and Patrick.
Betty was dearly beloved by all those she worked and lived with including colleagues at Gatoto Primary School and her neighbours at Nasra Gardens Estate.
Betty’s body will be interred at Munge, Lugari sub-county on 20th March 2021.
Till we meet again. Fly with the angels. Shine on your way.

She was the kindest and most loving mother. She helped most of us through education support. She was ever present to help from primary to university. Much respect to our late mama. She sure was God sent without a doubt. Forever she’ll live within us even in her physical absence. May mama rest in peace.

You were a friend, a mother,a mentor, a caring person,a teacher…..I am whom I am coz of you…shine on your way till we meet again, for u fought a good fight,kept the faith and completed the race
Such a selfless soul. Laying her life down for others. I wouldn’t be where I am today were it not for God through madam Betty,to give me education right from nursery school all the way to college. And countless others from Gatoto Commynity.

I don’t remember when was the last time I cried this much. You have left some wonderful memories that will never fade from my heart. You gave many dreams a meaning including mine, the entire Gatoto community will miss you🤦♂️ Rest in peace!

Dear Gatoto family,
We at Camara are deeply saddened by the loss of Madam Betty Nyagoha.
We are sure the children of Gatoto were made stronger as individuals by her leadership, mentorship, and encouragement.
Gatoto has been a central partner to Camara as it’s one of our pioneer schools. We are very proud to be a part of the Gatoto community and this loss is shared with great empathy.
