It is with humble acceptance of and submission to God’s will that we announce the passing on of Boaz Simeon Owino of Ndere sub-location, North Gem location in Siaya County on the Friday, 4 October, 2019.

Husband of the late Jael P Adhiambo Owino. Son of the late Lay Reader Simeon Wasonga and the late Abisagi Anyim and Tabitha Wasonga. Son-in-law of the late Archbishop Festo H. Olang’ and the late Mama Eseri T Olang’. Father of job and Catherine Oduor, the late Jim Omondi, Fred and Wakio Wasonga, Peter and Debra Olang’, and Joseph and Anne Ochieng. Grandfather of Steve, the late Diana, Natasha, Jabulani, Esther, Kyle, Wema, Trevor and Amani. Brother and brother-in-law of the late Deborah and the late James Muholo, the late Flogo and the late Athanasio Onyango, the late Nehemiah and Vivian Nyanjom, the late Julian and Abigael Sande, the late Benjamin and Benta Okuom, the late Mildred Atieno, Fanuel and Christine Ouma, Wellington and Gladys Otieno, Elijah and Sarah Omondi, the late Doris Okwako, Rev. Elisha and Gladys Opondo, and Helen and Jomo Onjiro. Order of Services:

There will be a Memorial Service at St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Kisumu on Thursday, 10 October, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. and later at St. Stephen’s Church, Ndere at 2:00 p.m.

The burial ceremony will take place at his home in Ndere on Friday, 11 October, 2019 from 9:00 a.m.
