Brigadier (RTD) Joseph Kimani Mwangi Duncan

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Brigadier (RTD) Joseph Kimani Mwangi Duncan which occurred on 18th January 2019. He was a former Military officer of the Kenya Defence Forces Artillery Brigade.

Loving husband of Agnes Ruth Mukuiya Kimani. Son of late Duncan Mwangi and Lilian Wairimu. Son in love of the late Harrison Thiong’o Kigotho (Mzee Ndone) & the late Sarah Wanjiru Thiong’o. Father of Lilian Wairimu Kimani (USA), Duncan Mark Kimani (Coca-Cola Beverages Africa), Charity Kimani, Sarah Wanjiru Kimani (USA) and Yawo Doh (USA). Grandfather of Ruth Mukuiya (USA), Carson Beach (USA), Vicky Kimani (USA), Jayden Kimani, Zachary Kimani, Katelynn Kimani and Grace Doh (USA).

Brother of Rose Hellen Mwangi, John Wataki Mwangi, Edward Macharia Mwangi, Charles Kariuki Mwangi, Ruben Mwangi, Loise Gathoni Gachichi and the late Eunice Wambui Mwangi. Brother in love of Jane & Solomon Gitau, Johnson & Elizabeth Kigotho, Susan Mwihaki (USA), the late Peter Wakanyua & Jane Watoro, Joseph & Dorcas Kimani (USA), Mary & Hubert Klos (Germany), Betty & Ben Kimunyu (USA), Jim & Gladys Ndagi (USA), Monicah & Uwe Reissinger (Germany), Ann & Chris Maquade (USA), Lydia Wanjiru, Beatrice Wacare, Florence Wambui, John Gachichi and the late Timothy Mwangi.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Milimani Nakuru near Moi Primary School from 5p.m for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru on Saturday 26th 2019 at 8:30am and thereafter the burial ceremony in Wanyororo A (next to Wanyororo Primary) Nakuru (past Lanet).
