Capt Isaac Odhiambo Odero

It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Capt Isaac Odhiambo Odero of Kenya Defence Forces (Gilgil) that occurred on 26 September 2021 while deployed on security operation duties.

He is the son of John Charles Odero and Jane Odero. Husband to Vivian Murima and father to Joy Mumbi. Brother to Everlyne Akinyi, the late Susan Achieng, Jessicah Anyango, Nancy Akoth, Vincent Onyango, Wilberforce Odero (Kenya Army) and Felix Otieno (Ambira High School).

Nephew to Moses Olulo, Dinah Orawo, Risper Okwach, Phoebe, Joan, Ann, the late Elijah Otieno, the late Richard Juma, the late Joash Ochwach (Suba) and many more. Cousin to Aggrey, Catherine, Mike, Patricia, joy, Melissa, Eric, Sebby, Isaac, Caleb, Fredrick Onyonyi and many more. Uncle to Grace, Viola, Junior, Sheryl, Lynn, Alexander, Tracy, Leah and Abby Shalom.

Grandson to the late Isaka Odero and Joyce Odero of Sakwa Kapiyo, the late Oyaga and Sarah Oyaga (Suba) and friend to A many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 8:00am at his father’s home in Okanda Village, Kapiyo Location, Bondo Sub-County, Siaya County.

The cortege will leave Mashujaa Farewell Home DFMH (Defence Forces Memorial Hospital) on 08 October 2021 for an overnight vigil at his father’s home in Okanda Village Kapiyo Sub — Location. Burial will take place on Saturday 09 October 2021 at his father’s home.
