It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will to announce the death of Carlos Andabwa Nabwangu which occurred on 8th October 2019. He died due to complications of hydrocephalus.
Son of Beatrice Imbosa Lunga’yia (Shibwe Nursing Officer) and Pius Andabwa Nabwangu. Brother of Dr. Apollo Edgar Lunga’yia, Alicia Lyabule and Beverly Bahati. Grandson of Rebah Mukhutsi, Jennifer Imbosa Lumidi, Alice Gulenywa, Beatrice Ayesa, Rosemary Ilego, the late Benson Mukhutsi, the late Sarafina Mmberi and the late Francis Andabwa. The uncles include: Julius Iganji, Dr. James Nabwangu, Shikoli, John, Charles Lifwakhala, Humphrey Indeche, Imoli, Patrick Majani, Mohammed, Mamadi, Clement Muchiti, Reardon, Josephat, the late Vincent Nabwangu, Evans and many more. Aunties include: Benedina Nabwangu, Jackline Lunga’yia, Alexina Ayuma, Phylis Minyatta, Retired justice Effie Owour, Catherine Okatcha, Beatrice Lwosi, Faridah, Anne Wambui among others. Cousin of Amelia Liabule, Ezra, Andabwa, Micah, Sylvia, Sandra, Anic, Amara, Larry, Cliff, Derrick, Freddie, Tyson, Ellen, Shunza, Tabitha, Ryan, Becky, Lydia, Brian and many more.
A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday at Montezuma mortuary at 10 am.
The cortege will leave Nairobi on Thursday to his maternal home in Kakamega. He will be laid to rest on Saturday 19th October in Kakamega County, Ikolomani sub county, Musoli area.
