Carren Juma Ninga

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of our beloved mother Carren Juma Ninga of Kenyatta National Hospital that occurred on Sunday 20th September 2020.

Carren was the daughter of the late Nicodemus Yoya and the late mama Elsa Yoya. She was loving wife to Jacktone Ninga Omuono (formerly of ILRI) and mother to Evelyne Ninga, Maureen Ninga, Belinda Ninga and Ian Ninga. She was also mother to Lilian Ninga, Jerry Ninga, Tom Ninga among others.

Mother-in-law to Paul Ohaya, Christopher Chengecha, Peter Omondi, Nick Oekuku and Gladys Hope. She was also grandmother to Amara, Hawi, J.C, Jacktone, Leshan, Elsa, Khloe, Mike, Marion, Bridgitte and Larry. She was sister to Joan, Hellen, Sophie, Catherine, Peter and Walter.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Olympic Kibera.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta National Hospital funeral home on 1st October 2020 and burial shall take place at her home on 2nd October 2020 in Awendo, Migori County.
