It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of Mama Catherine Anyango Oduor on 8th day of July, 2018 after a short illness.

Loving wife of Mzee Walter Oduor Otieno of Agulu Village, Alego Location, Siaya. Daughter of the late Gerphas Ocholla and the late Mama Mariana Ocholla of Mbaga Village, Siaya. Daughter-in-law of the late Japuonj Ishmael Otieno Awange and the late Mama Beldina Angala. Sister-in-law of Sybil Omino, Tobias Owuor, Everlyne Nyindha, the late Malaki Omondi, Ernest Ouma Ombul, Dorcas Buop, the late Arthur Ogutu and Dr. David Awange.

Sister of the late Reymond Oloo, the late Gabriel Ochieng, the late Agnes Awino, the late Agatha Odonde, the late Getrude Jura Ochieng, Julia Odhigo, Teresia Adera, the late Allois Owino and the late Sr Eunice Achieng. Mother of Florence Oywer, the late Joan Agolla, the late Scholastica, the late Noah Onyango, the late- Samuel Okoth, Herine Awuor Odhiambo, Fred Omondi (Teddy), Merab Akinyi, Jane Atieno and Benjamin Otieno. Grandmother of Pope, Mandela, Agnes Awino (Mummy), Dido, among others.

The cortage will leave Ashburn Community Nursing Home, Siaya on Friday 27th day of July, 2018 and funeral service to be held at her home on Saturday 28th day of July, 2018 in Agulu village, Koyeyo Sub-location, Alego Location, Siaya.
